Startup St. John’s was is a passionate business driven movement bringing together business owners(both new and experienced) passionate about collaboration, innovation and learning and expanding their growth. Our mission is to bring business owners and people together to support one another (in both success & failures) as we create fantastic new companies and great opportunities for more people. We are a diligent group made up of entrepreneurs, technologists, designers and analysts who work for other organizations and are looking to grow their potential. Organizations, mentors and SMEs are also a big part of the support of this community.

What we do
Meetups
Our Group hosts regular Meetings where members can share knowledge and provide advice to one another. These informal gatherings take place in various locations throughout St. John’s. Some meetups feature a speaker or presentation, others simply provide an outlet for the local entrepreneurship community to gather and share ideas. The main focus is to break the ice and share the unlimited knowledge with each other.
Common Ground Co-working
We are working with community partners with the goal of building a co-working space for entrepreneurs across St. John’s to work together. Get in touch to get involved.
Community Enterprise Partnership
We are currently building St. John’s Community Enterprise Partnership. We will meet six-times a year to share, discover and collaborate on major projects and campaigns to advance the St. John’s startup community.
